Our Quilting Story
Welcome to my online Quilt Gallery. Here are a few of my latest quilt creations. I am a South African quilt creator. Enjoy browsing.
Sewing and quilting has been in my family since I can remember. My mom and mother-in-law made quilts many many years ago. I started sewing at the age of 13 and made my first quilt 20 years ago.
Quilting gave me so much joy from day one. I have made over 80 quilts during this time and each was a labour of love and passion.
Choosing the fabric, putting colours together and letting the fabric speak to me which is the best design or pattern to use, is the start.
My quilts are bold and bright. I love putting 'weird' as some might call it, colours together. I love contrast and I love using complimentary colours together. I don't often work in pastels but when I do I will always add a really bright bold colour to the mix.
I also believe in sustainability and use vintage clothes and fabric when I can find afforadble pieces.

I can make a bespoke quilt for you. You can choose any of my styles and provide your colour scheme or preferred colour palette. It takes 6-8 weeks depending on your chosen pattern.
How to Buy
All our quilts listed here are in stock and available to buy. Click on the link on the Quilt Page. This will send us an email and we will be in contact. We send throughout South Africa with PEP or PostNet. The courier cost is not included in the price. We will ship your quilt to wherever you are if outside of SA.
